The UK’s largest motoring magazine publisher will be displaying feature cars at The Fast Car Festival from some of the best-known motoring brands from the newsstand.
Banzai, Fast Car, GTPorsche, Performance VW, Jaguar World, Classic Ford, Mini World, Classic Car Mart and Performance Vauxhall are just some of the leading motoring magazines that are produced by Kelsey Media - organisers of The Fast Car Festival. To celebrate the scope of motoring interest catered for by these brands (over 20) a dedicated display area is being set aside at the heart of Donington Park, with a selection of magazines showcasing the cars that define its ethos.
The Classic Ford stand showcases the very best of the breed. As you might imagine, the Escort forms the backbone of the display, with two Mk1s and five Mk2s sitting alongside such rarities as a 100E ‘Pop’, Mk2 Cortina Estate, Mk1 Capri, Mk2 Granada and a Fiesta XR2 to name just a few.
If you prefer your performance machinery a bit less shouty and a lot statelier, then the models being brought along by our classic car magazines will be right up your street. Classics Monthly will be proudly showcasing the variety of the cars they cover in print by bringing along some of their staff rides and feature cars.
The Retro Japanese magazine display will appeal to any fans of rare rides from the land of the rising sun. The popularity of Japanese car culture, and in particular the iconic performance models that have come from the major makes over the years, is at an all–time high. So while we have the usual selection of Honda Civics and Toyota Supras to tick the popularity boxes, Retro Japanese is also about the unusual models that might have slipped your attention. Cars like the gorgeous American muscle-car inspired Mitsubishi Galant GTO and the now all-but extinct Nissan Cherry GTI.
In addition to the amazing cars we’ve listed here, there are still far too many magazine display cars to list, but take our word for it that this is one part of The Fast Car Festival that you can’t afford to miss!
