The Lotus Forums join The Fast Car Festival

With more than 60,000 Lotus owners and enthusiasts, The Lotus Forums is probably the world’s largest and definitely the most respected community of Hethel fans on the planet. It would have been crazy for us to honour the Lotus brand at this year’s inaugural FCF without getting The Lotus Forums involved and we’re delighted to announce that they will be attending to put on a show stopping display of their member’s vehicles.

Started in 2004 by Andy Betts as a hangout for Esprit owners and enthusiasts who had nowhere else to go, The Lotus Forums quickly evolved into something much larger. The LotusEspritforum.com soon ballooned to 6,500 members and it became clear that other models were also not being catered for. So after suggestions from 2Eleven and Evora fans to make similar sites it became clear that an overarching forum for all things Lotus was needed.

Now with well over 11,000 registered members, 50,000+ visitors a month and over 20 new members a day, TLF is the one-stop-shop for all things Lotus. TLF got so big and was so well respected by fans that it even came to the attention of the factory Lotus Group. They added TLF to the firm’s official website from March 2012 as an official global community partner.

So this is why we’re really excited that these guys are coming to The Fast Car Festival. They’re bringing along over 30 of their members finest display cars, representing all Lotus models both classic and modern. We’re also hearing rumours that they might even be getting hold of some of the firm’s own F1 machinery! We’ll bring you more as this is confirmed.
